He's not really in my life -- at best, I'll probably see him once a year like most of my relatives -- but I met my four-month-old third cousin, Hoyt, at my family's Thanksgiving gathering a few weeks ago.
He's very squishy, was mostly docile, had on those adorable little baby jeans, and his head smelled delicious.
I'm still not interested in having children of my own, but it was nice to spend half an hour hanging out with one of the newest members of our family.
